Development Stills - Rialto Twirlers © a.m.barry
The second majorette competition of the year was held last sunday - a pom pom event. I have noticed a shift in the music the majorettes' are dancing to - the current trend is rock-a-billy. However, Flo Rida and Rihanna are still quite popular. My own team - the Rialto Twirlers performed to 2-Unlimited's
No Limits, which actually sounded good on the old PA system - Or perhaps I had eaten too many sweets and was also tired of repeat plays of Michael Sembello's
Maniac (on the dancefloor).
